At the New Hartford, NY library, July 8, 15 and 22, 1-3pm.
This class is for students entering 7th to 12th grade who are interested in creative writing and want to enhance their creativity and writing skills in an inspiring and nurturing environment.
During each session, you will be given a prompt that plays with essential concepts of creative writing to generate a first draft. Or, use the prompt to spur along an idea you've been working on.
Students must have access to a personal Google Drive account to access materials in the course.

Individually scheduled over Zoom
This intensive is for students entering 7th to 12th grade who are interested in creative writing and want to enhance their creativity and writing skills in an inspiring and nurturing environment.
During this intensive, you will be given four writing prompts that play with essential concepts of creative writing to generate a series of first drafts. Or, use the prompts to spur along ideas you've been working on.
For each draft, you will receive individual advice and feedback on how to challenge and hone your ideas.
You will schedule four 45-minute Zoom sessions during the month of July. Student writing time will occur between sessions. You can schedule these sessions in a timeframe that works best with your summer schedule.
Students must have access to a personal Google Drive account to access materials in the course.
